Is it worth working towards PEGA BPM?
By looking closely and using Google, I determined for myself that this is a platform with a large toolkit of components, and creating applications comes down primarily to installing and configuring these components. Coding is kept to a minimum, and most of the work is related to configuration. Correct me if I misunderstood. The set of videos on Youtube does not inspire confidence, I did not find any sensible manuals, and what is available is limited to a cursory overview of the platform in very “dirty” English. Is it worth dedicating your life to this if you want to work as a programmer, and not as a configurator armed with a mouse? Will some experience give additional weight to the vacancy for a Java developer, or time working with PEGA BPM? The underarm design, minimal interference in the code, and the lack of good, freely accessible manuals are deterrents.
