Good afternoon My name is Sergey, I am one of the JavaRush students. I want to tell you about my small victory. By profession I am a chemist (researcher).
It so happened that about a year ago I decided to change my life a little and started learning the Java language at JavaRush. In February I reached level 31, then within a month I completed the test task for the internship. Like many JavaRush students, at least those who described success stories, the test task turned out to be very difficult, more difficult than what I had encountered before in the course. But this is only at the beginning. Gradually I figured it all out! I applied for a spring internship, completed it, and then, in order to consolidate my knowledge, completed the following summer internship. During my internships, I simultaneously developed several of my own projects.
After that, I took up the Google Android course , the translation of which I found right there on JavaRush. It covers the very basics, but by this time I already knew Java quite well and had experience creating projects. All this, plus Google - and a month later I finished my first application on Android, which I posted on PlayMarket. Actually, here is a link to it, please rate it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.solomevich.android.chemistryss Since I am a chemist, I decided to create an application about chemistry. The program is called Chemistry SS, it is an assistant in studying chemistry. It contains reference materials, the periodic table with a detailed description of each element, and a calculator capable of balancing chemical reactions and calculating the molecular masses of substances. The application will be useful to anyone who studies chemistry and does not require access to the Internet.
I would like to say a huge thank you to JavaRush for the structured presentation of the material, which turned out to be quite enough for creating the first applications! I’m also writing this post for all those who doubt and lose hope when learning programming: I myself was ready to give up everything several times, but I didn’t give up. I wish the same for you! I also kindly ask you to support my application by downloading it. For this, I also promise to help every Javarash resident with advice or consultation: if I had known a year ago in what order everything needed to be done, this post would have appeared much earlier!
