Gratitude for the competition

Not so long ago, about 20 days ago, the next (they say the second) competition from JavaRush “Share your knowledge, get a prize” ended. Somehow I missed the first one, but the letter about the second one lay in the mailbox a little longer and finally caught my eye. Below will be words of gratitude and a little criticism. If anyone is interested :)
Gratitude for the competition - 1

Acknowledgments

I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers for such competitions. And I hope that there will be more, I don’t have a second volume :) In my opinion, there were a lot of articles of different levels - from a first attempt at writing to extensive research ones. I really liked the article, which described the hotkeys used in Idea, not so much as just a description, but with real examples of application in work. I also read several negative comments on the topic of the resource administration receiving content for practically nothing. I suspect that these were the editors of the books being raffled off, or at least active users from Habr who know a lot about writing high-quality articles and are aware of the market value of such work performed by professionals. As for me personally, the article was written solely for myself, so that I had all the necessary information at hand and did not have to re-read half of the Internet every time. And thanks to this competition, the article, to be honest, has changed and become deeper and more accessible to understanding. And this, in fact, is the purpose of writing articles, I think. The author, having made at least some effort, is already becoming richer and smarter than he was yesterday. This is the essence of the competition - this is a training service - this is its task. And for some kind of “dark matter” there are unlikely to be many who want to graphomaniac. And books are a great deal and good pay for unprofessional work! So everything is fair :)

A little criticism

There were reviews on the topic of a separate section for the competition - quite rational, it seems to me. It’s as if if the role of such a sandbox is played by the group “General”, then everything is fine. But, in this case, worthwhile articles from this group should be moved to other threads so as not to drown in the flow of low-quality articles. This is an elementary manifestation of respect for the authors of good articles - to show the significance of their work. The article editor is just a bummer
  • Now they use markdown engines in full. Well, at least there would be headlines - how to focus the reader’s attention?
  • Drafts would be nice to have too.
In general, development for everyone :)
