JavaRush - 7 years old! Holiday mini-results

Published in the Random EN group
Friends, today is our birthday :) And we want to share this holiday with those who make us better - with you. Last year our community fell just short of a million, but today we are almost 1.3(!) million! So for everyone who has been with us for many years and those who joined recently, we have collected mini-summaries of the innovations that you have inspired us to do throughout this year. JavaRush - 7 years old! Holiday mini-results - 1

Updated on improvements

1. Solving problems in JavaRush has become more convenient: we translated compiler errors from English into Russian, added input data for problems, and made our plugin faster and better. 2. There is more clearly explained theory : we have added dozens of additional lectures to the Collections and Multithreading quests. 3. Finding what you need has become easier : a global search for the resource has appeared, which covers lectures, tasks, the “Help” section and materials in groups.

About the gaming component

1. Even more practice on interesting problems: in winter we opened the “Games” section , which has 6 game projects for students of levels 5-10+. 2. Achievements have appeared on the site , which you can earn by solving problems, writing games, helping other users (currently in beta mode).

About the community

Let’s admit, there are too many of us to line up and count :) But I want to communicate and exchange experiences with everyone! Therefore, we have opened the “Forum” and “Chat” sections , where you can talk about training, job search, career and everything exciting.

About mobility of learning

This fall, after painstaking development, internal and external beta testing, we finally launched the JavaRush application on Android . We've found a solution to a difficult problem: writing code from your phone so you can learn whenever you want.

And... about global dominance

Attentive users have noticed that JavaRush now has an English version - CodeGym. So, this year everything became official with the project: it came out of beta and (makes people happy) helps English-speaking users learn Java. What's next? Stay with us and you will learn about all sorts of “cool things” right away :) Your JavaRush team *congratulations and wishes are accepted under the post*
