Java Developer Job Voted Best in Australia
Australian Java developers have the best profession in the country, based on salary levels and number of vacancies offered. This is evidenced by data published by Yahoo Finance. A Java programmer can expect an annual income of between AUD 110,000 and AUD 180,000 (USD 68,000-123,000). Among the advantages that distinguish Java developers from representatives of other specialties, experts note a large number of vacancies and the absence (in some cases) of mandatory specialized education received at a university or college. Often, to get a well-paid job, a programmer only needs to take an online course or an in-person training course. This is not enough for other high-paying professions. It is predicted that the Australian IT sector will need an additional 100 thousand specialists by 2024, including 17,900 programmers and application developers. Overall job growth over the next 5 years will be 23.4%. Source:

US presidential candidate criticized video game developers
Presidential candidate Joe Biden sharply criticized representatives of the IT industry involved in the creation of video games. In an interview with The New York Times, Biden said that several years ago he participated in a meeting with the heads of IT companies, and one of the participants, when asked about his occupation, said that he “makes games that teach people how to kill.” According to Joe Biden, Silicon Valley company owners are “arrogant” even though they “employ fewer people than the number of layoffs at General Motors in the last quarter.” Biden is now considered one of the most likely candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination. Another Democratic candidate, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, also spoke negatively about the excessive influence of the IT industry. In particular, Warren proposes breaking up Facebook. The introduction of electronic textbooks in Ukrainian schools was unsuccessful
Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Anna Novosad said that the experiment to introduce electronic textbooks in pilot schools ended unsuccessfully due to the low quality of electronic educational materials. But in the future work in this direction will be resumed.
“The ministry announced a competition, but what the producers gave us is simply terrible. I personally reviewed all these textbooks - this is horror that should be hidden and not shown to anyone else. I cannot allow this to be purchased with public funds and end up in schools. These cannot be called electronic educational materials - these are just some kind of PDFs, to which somewhere they have attached sound, where they have a figurine that moves, and they are trying to sell us for millions of hryvnia,” Novosad said. According to the minister, there are no problems with financing the program, but it is necessary to issue regulatory documents and new requirements for the examination of these textbooks, as well as begin a dialogue with manufacturers.
