Hi all! My name is Vova, I am already 9 years old. I've been learning Javarush for three and a half months and finally reached LEVEL 22! There are currently 630 solved problems. For me this is a very big success! It started with the fact that I showed my dad a small program that I wrote myself, I remember that there I created the “Matematic” class, then in the Matematic class I created four methods public void plus(int n), public void minus(int n), public void divide(int n), public void multiply(int n), which performed actions according to the names of the methods. Dad analyzed my program and decided that I needed to move on, gave me the “Java for Beginners” video course to listen to on YouTube, I listened to the course several times, then we bought the “Java for Advanced” video course, on the left monitor I opened the course, and on the right I wrote the code that the author himself wrote. Then I wrote a program with threads, where I myself got confused, where very often there was keyboard input and output to the console. As a result, I did not finish this program. After that I started learning GUI (Graphics User Interface). I first studied javax.swing. Next, I decided to learn JavaFX. I wrote a program in JavaFX and posted it on my YouTube channel, where the circle moves using the keys (w, s, a, d). Why is JavaFX good? It supports CSS, HTML, and FXML. But JavaFX did not become popular. Three and a half months ago, I asked my parents to create an account on Javarush and buy a subscription. I completed level 1-2 tasks quickly. But at level 3, difficult tasks have already begun. And then it’s even more difficult. Level 7 was very difficult for me, I even used my dad’s hints, I no longer resorted to my dad’s help, because after that he no longer understood everything. Up to level 12 I solved them easily, then the problems became more complicated. Level 17 and level 20 were the most difficult levels for me in the Java Core quest, and the allotted time on the computer began to not be enough, I had to seriously talk to my parents to get additional time. When I completed the Java Core quest, two quests Java Collections and Java Multithreading opened at once, I clicked open the next lecture in the Java Collections quest and immediately I became LEVEL 22!💎 I made about 20 videos on solving java problems, I don’t have time yet for filming. In a week, I hope to start filming further. In terms of this, I would like to try to solve problems online, somewhere on YouTube, if anyone is interested, of course. My first video "Amigo is very smart" . Even during my training, there were tasks where I had to create games using the Javarush engine. Below I will now list them: Game “Life” , I took a cellular automaton as the basis . The game "Space Invaders" , I made a limited number of bullets there, there was planet Earth and I had to destroy the Boss, etc. The game "Snake" , everything is original, except that there are not only apples, but also fly agarics. Game "Racer" . A game"2048" , the field has been increased, from 4/4 to 15/15. Game "Moon Lander" . I decided to create a game where a knight runs around and kills skeletons, for which he gets points and bonuses, but so far I can’t find time to do it the way I planned, although I’ve already done half of the graphics. I'm still working on the stairs. Before learning Javarush, I learned touch typing, it took several months to learn, but then I accelerated for a long time. Studied the text editor Vim. I played vim-adventures several times . Now I am actively learning English. I try different applications, courses. If you recommend good sites and applications, I will be very grateful. Yesterday I learned how to install Linux and IntelliJ IDEA and Eclipse IDEs on Linux. I'm trying to work through the Linux terminal. Dad said you'll need this. We have such interesting books on programming, maybe someone will find the information useful and can recommend other interesting books: Philosophy of Java (Bruce Eckel) 4th edition. Java Data Structures (Robert Laforet) 2nd edition. Java™ Professional's Library Volume 2: Advanced Programming Tools (Kay Horstmann) 10th edition. Java for Beginners, Object-Oriented Approach (Bart Basins, Aimee Bacil, Seppe vanden Broecke). Linux from beginner to professional (Denis Kolisnichenko) 7th edition. For now I'm reading the book Java Philosophy, and I'm looking through the rest when I need to learn something. When I passed level 20, I looked in the notifications that I could publish my articles in the Success Stories section. I’m not looking for a job yet and I haven’t earned any money myself yet, but when I go through this, I’ll write here how it all went. That's all I have for now. Thank you for your attention. I wish everyone good luck. 💎 Just reached level 23! It was interesting! Level 30 is already close.🥳🥳🥳🧐Thanks everyone for your support!👍👍👍 Level 30🥳 Level 41!🤓🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Thanks Javarush!
