CodeGym student John Watson (level 27) wrote a very useful practical article about creating a bot for Telegram. The author not only describes how to create such an application, but where to deploy it, and also provides links to definitions and APIs for development that are necessary for understanding.

2. MVP in Android for the little ones

Applying the right practices and programming patterns is necessary not only in the Enterprise, but also in mobile development. Aleksey Dmitrevsky (level 31, Moscow) is convinced of this , and demonstrates how the MVP (Model-View-Presenter) principle can be applied when writing a simple Android application with a database. Many people have heard about Spring, but those who are just starting their way as a “javist” basically do not understand what kind of framework it is, and perceive it as some kind of “horror story” that they will encounter in the near future. CodeGym student Alex (level 37) tells newbies why Spring is good.

5. Top 7 Java Books for Beginners

Max Stern (Level 35) from Nizhny Novgorod shares a list of useful Java books that helped him understand various aspects of our favorite language while studying. The author talks about the simplest textbooks "from scratch", and about detailed reference books, and about those books that every "javist" should read to form the right programmer's thinking.
