My magical world of programming! - 1
1 0 1, my friend! If you are reading these lines, it means that either you want to learn about magic, or you are doing it yourself, in any case, I am glad to see you. My story begins in childhood. I often liked to watch cartoons and most of all I liked those where there was magic and adventure, for example, Aladdin. But then I wondered how I could make a cartoon myself, and when I had the Internet, the first thing I did was start asking questions to the great Google related to the creation of cartoons. Time passed and at the end of high school I learned that all cartoons used to be animated using scripts. That was the first time I encountered programming. I became curious and started learning HTML. I was so amazed at how easy it was to create complex things that I couldn’t stop. I sat for days, taught, tried to write my pages. Sometimes I didn’t even understand what I was writing, but it didn’t matter to me, I knew how to do what others couldn’t and everyone considered it magic. When the topic of going to university came up, I decided that I wanted to continue writing programs, but I had no idea how big the world of programming was. Upon entering the first year, we were immediately taught programming in the C language. It was even more incredible and at the same time very difficult. I learned the basics of programming, learned about loops, arrays, pointers and much more. But most importantly, I learned that there are a large number of programming languages and each of them is similar to each other, each of them is good in their own areas. Curiosity overwhelmed me, I took on different languages, a little of this, a little of that. And so, one day, I came across the Java language. It was similar to other languages, but at the same time it was different in everything! It was the first language that I started to understand, where I wrote code and understood what was going to happen and how it was going to work. But at the university they gave very little knowledge and I turned to the almighty Google, which is how I found JavaRush. Days and nights I sat and learned java from scratch, I really liked the texts written on the site, the abundance of practical tasks with instant verification, as well as motivational articles and video materials. Java has become my favorite language. In my last year at the university, we started studying programming for the Andriod OS in java and this became one of the most significant events, because I realized how I wanted to apply my programming knowledge, I decided to become a mobile application developer. I sat literally every day programming for Android, I really liked it and I went to the freelance exchange, I was ready to work almost for free, I got a kick out of the process. This is how I met one person who was recruiting people for his team. We talked with him for a long time about things other than programming, but in the end he invited me to join him and his team. We worked on mobile applications in the field of medicine and education. A little time passed and we decided to expand our horizons and, in addition to Andriod, we began to master programming in Swift for iOS. As a result, now I am a Middle Swift developer and teach new recruits in our company programming for Andriod and IOS. Summarizing everything written above, I would like you, my friend, to understand how important it is to believe in your dream. You must not give up on it and teach, even if you are alone. Steve Jobs once said these words: “Praise be to the madmen! Rebels, troublemakers, losers; those who are always inappropriate and out of place. For those who see the world differently. They don't follow the rules. They laugh at the foundations. You can quote them, argue with them, glorify or curse them. But it’s just impossible to ignore them. After all, they bring change. Pushing humanity forward. And let someone say: madmen, we say: geniuses. After all, only a madman believes that he can change the world, and therefore changes it.” I truly believe he was right! Believe in your dreams and your magic!
