A hook that doesn't fire or gets in the way
Nothing turns up in requests.log after a test prompt - or two identical lines do. Until the entry shows in /hooks, digging into the script is premature. Then: the wanted case and the negative one, matcher versus a path check, switching off one reaction without losing the rest.
