A new challenge game is available on JavaRush - Space Invaders

Hello everyone from the JavaRush team! We are pleased to announce that another cool project has been opened in the “Games” section – Space Invaders . Do you like stories about space and fighting aliens? Then try to create your own version of a gaming classic, using little tips from our developers.

The essence of the game Space Invaders

There is always only one superhero :) Our player will also single-handedly repel the attack of aliens from outer space until he destroys everyone - from ordinary soldiers to the “big boss”. The character can shoot at enemies and move left and right to dodge attacks. The rules and graphics of our Space Invaders are in the style of the original game. Only it will be more difficult to win: the hero will have only one life to get even with the aliens.

What level of training is required?

We divided the writing of Space Invaders into 34 subtasks. It will be easy for you to write a game step by step if you have successfully completed 10+ levels of training in JavaRush. If you are still at the beginning of the course, try to work on simpler games for now. You can write your own version of Snake , 2048 or Minesweeper after completing at least five levels of training.
