As always with tutorials like these, this book covers everything required for the OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Certification exam (exam code 1Z0-808), including Java language add-ons such as creating and using lambda expressions, new APIs for working with dates, and time, etc. It also includes a full-scale mock exam that can be used togetherwith Java 8 Certification Questions by David Mayer . Another great book to prepare for the OCAJP8 exam. This is the most up-to-date and complete summary of the OCAJP8 issues. Written by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff, they did an excellent job of covering all the important nuances of the OCAJP8 exam. The book begins with a test to test your knowledge and contains many examples for learning both new and old principles of the Java language. Another useful part of this book is the detailed explanations of the questions in the above test. Like Whizlabs' OCAJP 8 Exam Simulator , it not only shows why an A or B answer is correct, but also explains why the rest of the answers are wrong. This is very useful for understanding the principles of work and correcting your erroneous ideas.
This is another OCAJP8 exam book that contains information from the original source, i.e. Oracle.
