• Python (55%) overtook Java (54%) for the first time as the most used language in the last 12 months, but Java (37%) still leads Python (31%) in the list of “core” languages.
• The most popular language over the past 12 months was JavaScript (70%), followed by HTML/CSS (61%) and SQL (56%).
• Go, Kotlin and Python are the top three languages ​​that developers plan to learn in the future.

Antiviruses for Android and Windows have improved stalkerware detection

The results of a study conducted by independent antivirus testing laboratory AV-Comparatives and the Electronic Frontier Foundation showed that antiviruses for Android and Windows significantly improved the detection of stalkerware, spyware used to spy on spouses or partners. Experts compared how the 10 most well-known mobile antivirus applications for Android and 10 similar products for Windows detect spyware.
