According to statistics we have collected over the years of the project’s existence, JavaRush students begin to actively think about future work approximately in the middle of the course. If you have already reached this point, you will probably be interested in this small list of IT companies that are engaged in software development and are often looking for programmers and testers in Dnipro. With this article we continue the series of materials about companies that may be of interest to potential employees, in particular, requirements for developers (in our case, Java).

Oracle

This company needs no introduction. Oracle is the owner of Java and a lot of other technologies once developed by Sun Microsystems - the J2ME, J2SE, J2EE platforms, the HotSpot virtual machine. We can say that Oracle is nowhere more “javean”.

  • Confident experience in Java Web Application development;
  • Experience with Java 8, Spring, Maven, RabbitMQ, JAXB, JSON, Splunk, RESTful services;
  • English Intermediate Strong +.
Communication with people, courses, internships: the company provides courses and certifications, but this costs a lot of money and is designed for professional developers with experience. Where to look for work in Dnipro.  Part 2 - 3
Judging by the description on the website, this is a really fun company (or maybe they have a really fun copywriter). But these guys take recruitment very seriously and try to make this process as efficient as possible for both parties. At this link you will even find approximate test tasks for candidates for positions in the company. We invite you to practice!   • J2EE, JSP, Spring (MVC, IoC, AOP), Hibernate (Criterias);
  • HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript;
  • More than 1 year of experience in Java development;
  • More than 5 years of experience in IT.
Advantages include experience in:
  • Java: Spring Security, Lucene, Velocity, Sitemesh or Tiles;
  • Front-end: prototype + scriptaculos or jquery;
  • C++ background is welcome;
Communication with people, courses, internships: Archer does not very often hire novice programmers, but sometimes it happens. Go for it! Other cities and countries: Kiev, Dnepr, New York (USA) Conditions: Flexible schedule; obligatory fun once a month. Foreign languages, trainings, yoga. Number of employees: 180.

DAXX B.V.

Where to look for work in Dnipro.  Part 2 - 4
A company from Holland, primarily engaged in outstaffing (that is, “renting out” its employees to other companies for projects). DAXX clients include food companies, agencies, logistics companies, e-commerce companies, application development companies, as well as banks and insurance companies. What are expected from Java developers (Middle, according to vacancies): The requirements for developers are very different, since they will have to work not just on different projects, but, in fact, in different companies. An example of one of the vacancies:
  • BS in CS, EE or CE;
  • fluent English speech and competent writing;
  • 3+ years in development;
  • Java 8;
  • at least one successful project with Java 8 and Spring (not necessarily together);
  • at least two projects with Restful API and/or microservices;
  • Experience in optimizing code and balancing performance in accordance with computing power;
  • excellent communication skills;
  • quick learner, intelligence and tendency to self-learn;
Communication with people, courses, internships: young professionals can get a job at Daxx: sometimes the company opens vacancies for the Junior level. This Israeli company develops games and gaming projects. In particular, Caesars Casino is their brainchild. What is expected from Java developers (Middle, according to vacancies):
  • deep knowledge of Java (Java Core, multithreading);
  • a clear understanding of current standards and web development frameworks (for example, Spring Framework);
  • Experience with messaging systems (JMS, xMQ, Kafka);
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software development best practices;
  • Git/SVN;
  • ability to write tests of different sizes (small, medium, large);
  • ability to understand the existing database, study it and documentation, if necessary;
Desirable:
  • experience with NoSQL (Couchbase);
  • knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, caching;
  • experience with Groovy;
  • experience in test-driven development

All projects of this company are in one way or another related to the medical industry. Projects include a system for automating processes in hospitals and laboratories, as well as business process management and web development. Website: http://www.isd.dp.ua Who they are looking for: Java, C#, C++, VC++, C, Perl, PHP, Java Script, AJAX, HTML, XML, XSLT. What is expected from Java developers (Middle, according to vacancies):
  • higher education (possibly incomplete);
  • knowledge and experience with Java 2 SE, EE for at least one year;
  • strong knowledge of OOP, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Maven, SVN;
  • will be a plus: knowledge and experience with PrimeFaces, JQuery, Perl, PostgreSQL;
  • good English.
Communication with people, courses, internships: periodically the company opens vacancies for young specialists. In addition, ISD hires 4-6 year students and sends them on study leave for the session. Other cities and countries: Dnepr, Lviv, Zaporozhye, Berdyansk Conditions: business trips to the USA and Poland, flexible schedule. Number of employees: no data.
