The Future Has Arrived
The 20th century was a century of great inventions: vacuum cleaners, washing machines, televisions, automobiles. People dreamed of comfort and new opportunities — and step by step made it real. But if today you wash clothes by hand, ride a horse, or light a candle in the evenings, admit it — you are still somewhere in the 19th century. Time to move forward! 😉
The 21st century changed everything again. Our new “magical tools” are the internet, the smartphone, messengers, and social networks. Now, with a single click, you can:
- Get access to any information humanity has 📚
- Make friends all over the world and contact them anytime 🗺️
- Find like-minded people, get a job, build an online business 💼
- Get an education from the best teachers in the world without leaving home 🎓
Video calls from any continent? Free. Any app for work, creativity, or communication — instantly on your phone. The world map is in your pocket: you can “walk” the streets of New York or Tokyo without even leaving home. VR technologies let you travel through time and space — boundaries are fading.
A modern smartphone is your personal assistant. Write, call, take photos, shoot video, look up information, listen to music, build a schedule, track your health, make friends, like cat pics — there are as many possibilities as you want! 📱😎
You can learn a language in a year — just by listening to audio courses on the way to work. Want to publish a book or start a business? A few clicks — and you are on Amazon, and your products are available worldwide! 🌍
Live in the past or take advantage of all the benefits of the future — the choice is yours.
Today you do not have to wait for someone to tell you “you can start” or “the time has come.” In the 21st century, the boundaries that existed before have disappeared. Success now is not an accident, but the result of choice and action.
Stop waiting for someone to tell you what to learn, where to work, and how to live. The world has changed. All the tools are in your hands! 💪
A short parable to finish
A flood began. People run and try to save themselves. One devout man, Khaim, stayed behind and prayed: “God will save me.”
A truck drives by:
— Khaim, get in, let’s go with us!
— No, God will save me.
The water rises — a boat floats by:
— Khaim, jump in with us!
— No, God will save me.
The water is already up to the roof, a helicopter flies in:
— Khaim, hold on, we will save you!
— No, God will save me.
In the end, Khaim drowns, ends up in heaven, and asks God:
— Why didn’t You save me?
And God answers:
— I sent you a truck, a boat, and a helicopter! What was the problem?
The world gives us opportunities every day. The main thing is not to walk past your chances. The future begins with your decision.
