On the eve of the New Year, educational activity (as opposed to trading activity) is expected to fall. There are fewer courses and internships, and more festive moods. However, this only increases the value of those offers that still remain active.
And we found only one internship in the Java specialty to be especially valuable in Kyiv. This is a place in the company Sigma Software, which, based on its own training center, prepares Java Junior for its needs. The program focuses on six months of full-time study. It is not possible to earn extra money on the side, and, accordingly, program participants receive a stipend. Despite the fact that the internship prepares “juniors,” to get into the program, you must already have certain knowledge and skills. Thus, an understanding of OOP and the fundamentals of software design is necessary. You need to know Java and JRE at a basic level, understand Maven, Spring and ORM. Know the basic principles of XML (structure, validation, libraries) and the basics of relational databases and SQL. Of course, knowledge of English at a level not lower than Intermediate is required.
