Ukrainian programmers are among the best in the world at solving programming problems. DataArt came to this conclusion based on statistics from its own Skillotron platform.

Skillotron.com is a community playground for IT professionals where developers share experiences, ask and answer questions, test their technology proficiency, and measure their achievements. The platform brought together more than 7 thousand developers from 54 countries and collected about 2000 questions, divided into categories and subcategories. According to Skillotron statistics, Ukrainians (53.46) and Argentines have the highest average score in solving programming problems. Next come Belarusian (46.9) and Polish (46.8) developers, and programmers from the UAE close the top five with 38.9%. Programmers from Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Belarus, Argentina and Ukraine spent the most time on passing the test. The popularity rating of programming languages ​​among representatives of different countries also varies. Thus, in Ukraine, the most popular languages ​​were JavaScript (28.36%), Java (13.92%) and Python (4.42%), followed by PHP, C#, C++, Ruby and Go in descending order.

It's also worth noting that there are not enough Go developers in the IT world. The largest number of such specialists is in the UK (about 4.29% of the total).
