IntelliJ IDEA + JavaRush Plugin: Some Changes

Friends! Those of you who already installed IDEA 2018.1 and only then tried to update the JavaRush plugin (to version 3.17) may have encountered the following problem: the old version of the plugin was deleted, and the new one did not appear after restarting the IDE. The fact is that in IDEA 2018.1 the method for updating plugins has changed. Fortunately, this problem is easily solved: you can install the plugin manually.

1. Go to JavaRush plugin download page and download it
2. Go to IntelliJ IDEA -> Open JavaRushTasks project
3. Go to File->Settings (Alt+ Ctrl + S)
4. Select Plugins from the menu on the left
5. Click on Install from Disc
6. Select downloaded plugin -> OK

After this, IDEA will prompt you to reboot. The plugin should now appear and work correctly.
